You are about to take a Cyber ride on Train Mountain. What is Train Mountain you might ask, well it's the worlds largest model railroad. It's built to a 1/8 scale or 1 1/12 inches to the foot. It uses tracks that are 7 1/2 inch gauge and is operated by engineers from all over the globe. It is privately owned but operated as a club. The facilities include over 2,000 acres of land, thick forests, aspen groves, bridges, tunnels, scale buildings, and . . . . There is over 13 real miles of mainline and another 10 real miles of sidings and yards. The main yard can hold a mile of trains, the main steaming bays can hold 96 locomotives.
So how to show you all this online. I have a video of a trip on the Outer Loop at over 2 hours of straight video. A bit much for web-streaming I think! So I took some digital still pictures while riding some trains and ended up with some 250 plus pictures to make the Outer loop. Again a bit much for web-streaming. So what we have here is a trip on the Outer Loop with a picture about every 3 to 5 minutes or so, no particular subjects, just a picture about every 3 to 5 minutes of the ride. Just enough to wet your appetite. Next time you are at your local live steam club see how long a lap takes. My old club takes about 15 to 18 minutes to make a complete loop or about 5 or 6 Cyber Ride pictures. This Cyber Ride of 63 pictures is just a partial ride at Train Mountain, there are many such rides possible, some longer, some shorter, all of them terrific fun! Set back, relax, and enjoy the wonders of Train Mountain. Each slide should come up in about 8 to 10 seconds, you don't have to do anything but enjoy.
OK, enough talk let's go for a Cyber ride. Press--All Aboard to get things rolling!
