Our favorite place to go on the whole planet. Imagine a backyard model railroad nestled in the Oregon Mountains. Imagine this railroad is a 7 1/2 gauge, 1 1/2 inch scale model railroad. Imagine over 145,000 feet of track (25 miles) so far. Imagine only 300 acres of the 2,200 acres has track on it so far. Can't imagine it. Check out our pictures of this fabulous place.

Live steamers love this place. Local engines, visiting engines, big engines, small engines, they're all welcome at the Mountain.

Long freights, long passenger trains, long rides in the mountains and the woods, what's not to like?

And if your tastes run to something a little more modern, of course the Mountain has them too!
