Plan a lot, wire once!  Document all your wireing, take the time to do it neatly.

Turntables and engine house areas can be very large, plan well.

Multi levels give interesting vistas.  An alternative to multi deck layouts.

Terminal strips are much easier for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Panels should be laid out for ease of use and number of operators.

Ground dwarf for switch indication, targets for block occupancy.
